HOT DISCUSSION in PARLIAMENT. (Per Press Association.) Sydney, This Day. In the Assembly, upon a motion for the adjournment, Mr Crick referred to the developments in the Dean case, and made a hot attack on Sir J. Salomons and tbe Attorney-General for not divulging the knowledge they possessed for two mouths and while the Commission was sitting. Sir J. Salomons had accepted L 660 from the Government to prove Dean was guilty, yet he never said a word to the defending lawyers, and at the same time was prepared to accept their writ in an action for libel which they intended to bring against the Premier for bis utterances upon tho matter. Mr Crick denied Sir J. Salomons' statement that he knew Dean was puilty. He was still unconvinced, and intended to have the whole matter threshed out iv courts. He had used language to Sir J. Salomons which entitled him to issue a writ, and he challenged him to do it. If there was to be any dirt throwing he would open his mouth in a way that would make those concerned wish he had kept it shut. He was prepared to bite and would bite severely. The Minister of Lands said the matter should be tested to the fullest issue. He advised Mr Crick to carry the whole matter to Court. Mr Crick stated Mr Meagher denies he made any statement to Sir J. Salomons in reference to Dean's guilt. He also said Sir J. Salomons possessed knowledge of the confession for two months, but not during the sitting of the Commission.
