THE LATEST.

DEAN SPEAKS OUT. THE STATEMENTS A SERIES OF LIES. Dean when interviewed said the alleged confession was an infamous falsehopd, and a series of scandalous lies. He never said a word to Mr Meagher which could be construed into a cenfession of his guilt, or about obtaining, administering, or destroying any poison. Mr Meagher always treated him as if he considered him innocent, and their relations throughout were most cordial. The statements were simply inexplicable to him, and there was some bad business at the bottom. The whole was a pack of lies which he intended to sift to the bottom.
