THE NEXT AUSTRALIAN ELEVEN. ([Per Press Association.) Melijournk, Sept. 23. The Committee of the Melbourne Cricket Club and the trustees of the Sydney ground have abandoned fieidea of sending a team to England under their joint management. Probably Portus (Secretary of tho Australian Cricket Council) and Evans (President of the Adelaide Association) will undertake the tour on commercial lines, both by players as well as by management.
