A visitor to Aucklrvnd, says a Napier paper, gives r very glowing account of the briskness in mining matters in the northern city. He says that in addition to English money that is being largely . invested, French and Belgian money is now coming in for inyestmont. Our informant, adds the paper, does not take the view of others who came from norts late|y— that " the bottom will full out of the ijo.QU) yery soon." On the contrary, ho says" the boom has come to stay a very long while, because the coimfry has not yet baon half opened tip, which the foreign capital will permit being now dono. _
