Therefore they would pay a shilling , bonus per share along with the dividend. The Acting Governor has confirmed tho appointment of Sir G. E. Dibbs as managing trustee of the New South Wales Savings Bank. Adelaide, Sept. 24. Fair rain has fallen over several important agricultural districts. The crops are saved for the present and the outlook is brighter. Melbourne, Sept. 24. The Commissioner fully concurs with the Railway Board that the railways must be worked on cominsrcial principles quite apart from auj r political or ministerial influence, and strongly resent the suggestion that political influence had any sway in connection with the administration. Emanuel Abrahams has received an additional six month's imprisonment for malingering.
