o (Per Press Association). Sydney. September 22. The Premier, speaking at Purvvood, said, if the Legislative Council was willing, he was prepared to submit the question of the power of the two Chambers to the Privy Council. With reference to the rumours that the Government were not likely to temporise or abandon tbe Land and Income Tax exemptions, he said he intended to stick to them.
