(Per Press Association.) Taukanga, Sept, 19, 11. M. S. RiDgairooma arrived from Auckland at 8.30 a.m. to-day. Wellington, September 19. The Harbor Boaxrd has decided to grant the employes a whole holiday on Labour Day and make it a regular thing. Last year they refused more than a half ■ holiday. The weather has been very dry the last two months. The wind continues northerly and no southerly, a most unusual circumstance in spring. This Day. Two men, named Wm. Doyle and Edward Ryau, were committed for trial on a charge of assaulting and robbing R. Davis on the night of September 7th. The body of a newly born infant has been found in the bush at Grey town North.
