LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, September 18. The Council met at 2.30. Replying to Hon McGregor, the At-torney-General said that Government had received no definite offer or proposal from Siemens and Co. with reference to the iron industry. The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act Amendment and Corrupt Practices Prevention Bills passed their final stages, and the Council rose.
