Breach of the Licensing Act.
(Per Press Association.) Christchubch, September 18. At the Police Court to-day Joseph Rountree, a prohibited person, was fined £5, or a month, for obtaining liquor from the lioensee of the Clarendon Hotel. The charge against fche latter of supplying liquor was dismissed, as it was shown that he did not kuow that Rountree was prohibited. Wm. Jones was fined 50s for falsely representing himself as a traveller.
