Gold Mining News.
(Per Press Association.) Auckland, Sept. 18. Great interest is being evinced in the reported rich find of gold at Kennedy's Bay. A prospecting syndicate has been formed in Auckland and sent to the district. Another find is reported eight miles north-east of the Waihi. A special claim has been applied for, aptly called the Fisfcy Reef claim. The assay value of bullion treated by the Crown mine, Karangahake for the past month was £2327.
