F. R. Jackson aud Co. Wanganui report: — No sheep came forward at Waverley, but we had a good sprinkling of cattle, and we sold the bulk of them. At Wanganui we disposed of all the stock fchat came forward, except one pen of sheep. Both sheep and cattle sold at improved values- Pigs were in usual supply, but they did not maintain last sale's rates. Cattle — At Waverley : — Steers, L 3 5s ; fat cows, L4ss ,* heifers, L26sto L 3 17s 6d ; milch cows, L 3 to L 4; yearlings, 35s to 40s ; weaners, 24s to 275. At Wanganui : Fat cows, L 4 4s 9d ; steers, L 2 4s to L 3 15s, up to L 4 ; cows, L 2 15s ; yearlings, 35s 6d to 41s. Shoep— At Wanganui : — Fat ewes, 10s 9d fco 13s ; ewes and lambs, 10s 9d ; store wethers, 9s 2d ; old empty ewes, 4s 6d. Pigs— Large baconers, 38s to 425 ; others, 25s to 30s ; porkers, 13s to 16s ; small pigs, 5s 9d to Bs.
