Arrival of the 'Frisco Mail.
0 [Per Press Association] Auckland, Sept. 11. Arrived — Mariposa this evening from 'Frisco, She left 'Frisco on August 22. Passengers for New Zealand - Saloon : Miss Newsted, Messrs Ellison, Thos. J. E. Mison, Poslethwate, Erry, Burton, Mills, Esclon, Cook, Hire, Brown, Stillwell, and Whiteley. She leaves at 2 a.m. to-morrow. The supposed case of cholera at Honolulu arose from the islanders eating poisonous fish causing blood disease. Five natives died. 500 Chinamen, who landed a few days previously, led to the canard that the disease was Asiatic cholera. The Mahiuapua leaves to-night with the 'Frisco mail.
