A Rowdy Public Meeting.

THE POLICE CLEAR THE BUILDING. (Per Press Association.) Melboubne, This Day. A large anti-sweating meeting was held in the Town Hall. The Mayor, Mr Snowden, attempted to preside, but in consequence of statements of the agitators that he favored a reduction of wages paid by the Corporation he was refused a hearing. All the other speakers were howled down, and after a scene of the greatest disorder the police cleared the Hall.
