The match Wanganui v. Kangitikei was played at Wauganui on Saturday, j and resulted in a very easy win for Wanganui by 33 points to nil, the score being made up of seven tries, six of which were converted. [Per Press Association.] Dunedin, Sep. 7. The football match, Canterbury v. Otago was played to-day on the Caledoman grounds in the presence of a large crowd and resulted in a win for Otago by 13 points to 11. Wellington, Sept. 7. The last of the Interprovinoial matches at Wellington this season Hawke's Bay v. Wellington, came oft' this afternoon, the local men meeting Hawke's Bay. The weather was fine and some 2000 people were present. The game was fast and open. Wellington, who was undoubtedly cleverer and faster of the two teams, won by ten pointb to nil. Mr Garrard, of Christchurch, again made q> superior referee.
