(Per Press Association.) London, Sept 7. Khama, two Bechuanaland chiefs, have arrived in England to endeavour to induce tbe Hon. J. Chamberlain to take steps to prevent the Chartered Company absorbing their country. Dublin, Septernbor 4. The election for the vacant seat for Kerry South in tbe House of Commons caused by tbe retirement of Mr Kilbride who was returned for auotber constituency, resulted in the election of Mr Farrelli a McCarthyitc (1209), as against Mr Murphy, a Healyite (474). The Cardiff Congress, by a large majority, rejected the scheme for National Federation Trade Unions, but approved of the Nationalisation of Lands, Minerals, and Railways. The motion to rescind tho decision of declining to censure the Parliamentary Committee for non-execution of the colkctionist meeting was ruled to be irregular on technical grounds.
