Education Board v. Committee.

(Per Press Association). Reefton, September 2. A dead-lock has arisen in school matters. The Nelson Education Board appointed Mr Harkness 8.A., late Master of Bishop's school, Nelson, to the head mastership of the Reefton school. The local committee disagreed with this appointment. Mr Harkness arrived on Saturday nigbt. The Committee met and resolved to close the school for one week, and during that time Mr Harkness to bo refused admission to the school. He went to the school this morning, found the doors locked and could not get in.
