The Earthquakes at Taupo.
(Per Press Association). Wellington, Sept. 2. A correspondent wires to the Association that the report of tbe 27th of the earthquakes in Tokaajm was exaggerated. There were a good many slight shocks on that date but none since. None but a few timid people feared the bottom would fall out. It is liKely to last as long as ever it did. __^____
