The Acclimatisation Society haye made the following distribution of trout ova this season : -Mew South Wales Government, 86,000, Tfiupo 100,000, Westland 110,000, Bay of Islands 17,000, Hawke's Bay 30.000, Poverty Bay 10,000, Opotiki 6,500, Tauranga, 5,000. Total, 364,5000. Numerous petty robberies continue to be reported to the police. Dr. Whitehead was buried at the Lower Hutt this afternoon. The cortege left his late residence for the Thorndon railway station about 2 o'clock in the afternoon and deceased, who had been honorary surgeon to the Wellington Navnls, was accorded a military funeral. There was a very large attendance of citizens and volunteers. The wreaths sent were so numerous that almost every volunteer in the procession carried one to be placed upon the grave. The barque Grace Deering, from New York, 100 days out, arrived this afternoon.
