Another Mining Disaster.
—n — I Per Press Association.] Melbourne, August 30. Another accident has occurred at the McEvoy mine. A loud explosion of lire damp extinguished all the lights, throw a number of men about and scattered timbers in all directions. The workings were greatly damaged. The utmost confusion prevailed, as the miners believed there would be another inrush of water. Four facemen, Harris, Carpsew, Hall, and Lawrie, were burned about the faces and heads, Harris seriously.
