Kiwitea School Committee.
A meeting of the Kiwitca School Conimitteo was held in the schoolroom on Monday evening. Present — Messrs Tappin (chairman), J. Barrow, Gibson, Mitchell, Jas. Barrow, Kilgour, and Church. The minutes of the previous nuetiug were read and confirmed. A httcr was received from the Education Board notifying that tbe annual examination would bo held on Monday, 23rd September. The teacher's report showed the roll No. to be od, it also stated that the attendance for the last two months had been very satisfactory. Resolved, That Mr Gibson be empowered to employ labor for cutting one cord of firewood, and puttiug the fences around the schoolground in better repair. Accounts were passed for payment and the mooting terminated.
