Chinese Soldiers in Revolt.
PROPERTY ATTACKED AND HUNDREDS KILLED. (Per Press Association.) Shanghai, Aug. 22. It is reported that the Chinese soldiers at Tieutsein have revolted, and are clamouring for arrears of pay at Hi Hung's residence. The shops have been attacked and over four hundred people killed. The Chinese Government has appointed the degraded Viceroy Lin to enquire into the outbreak at Kucheug. Liv is regarded as the originator of the Clung Tv riots in June.
