o— Taranaki beat Hawke's Bay by 26 points to 3. Jago scored for the latter, but the kick was resultless. Tries were scored for Taranaki by H. Good 2, Humphries, A. Bayley and Allen, from which Humphries kicked four goals from easy positions. H. Good dropped a goal from nearly half-way from a free kick. The football match between Hunterville and Ohingaiti resulted in a win for the former by eleven points to nil. Hunterville therefore wins tbe cup. A match Taranaki v. Wellington will be played at Newton Park, Wellington, on Saturday. The Taranaki team is the favourite.
