No evidence was called for the defence, coun.- el laying stress on the fact that it had been deposed at the moment the lamp was thrown at the unfortunate woman the prisoner was struggling on the lloor with Wilson. 'Iho jury, after a short retire ment, found a verdict of "_Not guilty."
