The Manawatu Rugby Cniou met at Palmerston last evening aud, in addition to transacting formal busiuess, received the appeal from tlie Palmerston Club against the decision of the Union in tbe matter of that Club's protest against Feilding. This appeal has now to be forwarded to the N.Z.R.U. for their ruling. It was decided to admit the Rangitikei Uuiou as a branch ou the payment of 10s 6d for the branch and 2s Od for each Club iv that Union. Accounts were held over till next meeting. The Wanganui v. Mauawatu rep. match will be played at Palmerston on Saturday the 31st iust.
