o A. G. Tame and Co. report for the week ending August 15 — Fat sheep — Market very well supplied just now. Top price about IBs ; medium weights, 10s Gd to lis 6d ; fat ewes, lis ; 12s 9d has been paid for very weights. Store wethers, good demand for all offering no transactions to report. Ewes' in lamb, 4 and 0 toath sales np to 9s Gd for good large framed sheep ; hoggets 6s 3d to 7s ; medium 5s to 6s ; inferior, no demand. Fat cattle— Prime bullocks 19s per 1001 b. We have some big sales pending. Store cattle — Fresh bullocUs are selling slowly owing to the scarcity of feed, but all growing cattle are in demand ; 2-yr steers; £3 to £3 10s ; yearlings up to 45s ; weaners well grown Ll to JLI 7s. Pigs — We bave enquiry for porkers, but few offering. Horses — Young sound draughts L 24 to L 3 5; medium Ll6 to L2O; young horses, Ll2 to LlG '; good light harness horses LIO to Llo ; aged sorts, L 5 to LB. Sheepskins, 5d per lb is freely paid for good dry skins ; 4d per lb for half woolled best green skins 4s 6d.
