Gold Near Wellington.

The report of the Government analyst on the stone taken from tho Karori' hills states : — " Half dish of rubble for gold — this panned off gave nearly half a grain of gold, some in rather coarse grains. The earthy matter, stone or gravel left yielded gold by amalgamation at the rate of 202s ldwt 14gr per ton. The weight of the whole sample would be about 141b/]
