Opposition to the Tariff.
(Per Press Association!. Napier, Au^. 13. At a meeting of the Napier Chamber of Commerce a resolution was passed asking the Government to modify the tariff as regards the projected duties on nannelcttte and shirtings, on the ground that the imposition of such duties will press hardly ou the working classes, and tend to restrict the avenues of employment.
