The joats were serving out ready to abandon ihe vessel, bufi : by "keeping 1 tiie' pitmps joing and patching up the holes she nauaged to keep afloat. Afterwards she met tempestous weather, and alto;ether those on board- had a most disressicg experience. The steamer was mly saved by the collision bulk- heads emaimng intact. She has a large conignment of dynamite.
