Serious State of Affairs at Brunnerton.
(Per Press Association.) Brunnerton, This Day. There is a serious economic labor trouble here. Two hundred and fifty men and boys employed at the mines get two day's work for a fortnight, therefore there is much destitution. Owing to the geographical position there is no outlet for impecunious men, nor work in the Grey Valley. The Mayor is in communication with the Premier and Mr Guinness, M.H.R., urging the extension of tne Midland Eailway be commenced from Jackson's.
