A. G. Tame and Co. report of their Saturday's horse sale : — Buyers were again present for really good horses, particularly big heavy draughts. We can only repeat former quotations for big, heavy young found draughts, £24 to £30 ; medium, i.'l 6to £20 ; young horses, suitable for express purposes with some weight in them, £V 2to £16 ; good light, harness horses, £10 to £lis ; aged sorts, £";; to £8. Next Saturday we hope to supply with a consign aienG from the South. Townpend and Paul report of their horse sale as follows :- -On account of the very bad weather prevailing the last three days horses that were entered from the country were unable to get down, consequently there were only a few local entries of mixed sorts, also buyers were not plentiful, only some half dozen changing hands from £'1 to £18 os. There is a demand for a few good sorts. Draughts we quote £15 to £-20; light draughts, £12 to £15; trap and light harness sorts, £7 to .£lO ; hacks, £3 to £5.
