(Per Press Association.) London, Aug. 9. Purchases are bemg made of notes drafts, and deposit receipts of the City of Melbourne Bank. Several thousand pounds worth were bought to-day at 17s 6cl in the £ The Edinburgh meeting agreed to the Australian Deposit and mortgage Bank scheme, subject to the Bank repaying 30 per cent, of the old deposit debenture debt in three annual idstalnients of ten per cent, each, instead of live per cent.
