Important to Farmers.

« ;- ■:. The Palraerston Times says : — ,We mentioned recently that a very powerful combination of farmers was likely to be effected. To-day we are able to inform our readers that the directors of the Manawatu Farmers' Co operative Association and the United Farmers' Alliance have decided to submit resolutions to their respective shareholders ad rising amalgamation. By this plan forces previously in opposition will be utilised for mutual advantage, and the scope of operation will be very greatly extended, and will include the whole of the district from Wellington to Pa tea. The shareholders of each should derive very great benefit from the amalgamation, the advantages of which should be obvious. We may mention that this matter has been under negotiation for some time past, and a final decision was arrived at by the delegates in Wellington yesterday.
