A Sweep Case.
(Per Press Association.) Christchuech, This Day. Mr Bishop, Stipendiary Magistrate, gave judgment in the case in which -the proprietors of the Press Coy. -were charged with inserting an advertisement (Oxenham's) respecting a sweep in Brisbane. The bench held the defendants liable, and imposed a fine of 20s, and costs. Leave to appeal was given. ,
