o (Per Press Association.) Auckland, This Day. Arrived — Anglian from Sydney. She encountered severe weather and a good deal of damage was done on deck by the heavy seas. A number of cases of acid were jettisoned. The hatches burst open, and a good deal of water went below. Of fourteen horses nine were washed overboard. At one time it was thought tho vessel would founder. — w— aw— ■
