A Big Libel Case.

It is understood that a writ has been issued against the Daily Telegraph at the instance of Mr Vickery, M.L.C., claiming .£1.0,000 damages ior alleged libel contained in a letter and comments insinuating that Mr Vickery had sought to influence votes in connection with the loan for church purposes. Sydney, This Day. The Daily Telegraph has apologised to Mr Vickery and paid 100 guineas to charities.
