Rough Weather in New South Wales.
HEAVY LOSS OF STOCK. (Per Press Association). Sydney, July 23. The weather is extremely cold and a stiff westerly gale is blowing, delaying tho shipping. Some anxiety is feit as to the safety of the barque Excelsior 37 days out from Kaipara to Sydney. Rain, hailstorms, and snow figure largely in the country weather reports. This Day. The sea is the heaviest experienced for many years in the Southern Coast. The country is covered with snow iu many parts, and that will greatly interfere with the elections to-day. Old cattle and horses are perishing.
