Unemployed Relief Works.
[Per Press Association.] Duxedin, July 22. The Unemployed Relief Works Association received £2060 to date, tho Association having declined assistance from the Miners' Association, which was formed with the object of sending prospecting parties into the country. \t a public meeting, held to night, resolutions of sympathy with the latter Association were passed and it was agreed to urge on the Government the desirability of acquiring freehold lands proved to be auriferous.
