SPEECH BY MR CHAMBERLAIN.
(Per Press Association). London. July 21. Mr Chamberlain, in the course of his election campaign, declared at Worcester — " AYe are not degenerate sons. Our predecessors made the Empire, and we will keep it." This election, he went on to claim, showed the country was determined to maintain and extend the field of commerce, and was prepared to make sacrifices to protect its trade from foreign aggression.
