» The above company played in tbe Assembly Rooms last evening to a moderate house, and succeeded in keeping the audience in a continuous roar of laughter with their funny and original jokes and comic songs, which were extremely well given. All the songs were loudly applauded, and almost every one was encored, while the witticisms introduced would make th© most cynical laugh. Miss Evelyn Harte established herself as a favorite, while Pete Miller, Woods, Baxter, Naylori and Patey had each to respond repeatedly to encores. The entertainment concluded with a laughable farce and everyone went away well satisfied with the quality of the performance. The company will appear again this evening with aa entirely new programme. The prices of admission are the same as last night. The compauy confidently invite every person who was present last night to roll up again. The show is a good one for real honest amusement.
