Fraudulent Bankruptcy.

(Per Press Association). Haweba, July 11, John Farrell, on several charges of fraudulent preference and other offences under the Bankruptcy Act, has been sentenced to three months' imprisonment on each conviction. Christchurch, July 11. At the Police Court thii? morning Fred Wm. Drummond, formerly a draper, pleaded guilty to a breach of the Bankruptcy Act in not delivering up tho whole of his property to the Official Assignee. He was placed on probation for six months, and ordered to payLS, costs of the prosecution.
