(Per Press Association.) London, July 5. The weekly returns of the Bank of England, published to-day, show the total reserve to be £28,424,000, and the proportion of reserve to liabilities 59*48. New Zealand long-berried wheat, ex warehouse, fiat, 26s 6d ; South Australian, jveaker, 275; Victorian, quiet, 275. For Australian wheat, cargoes ou passage, sellers ask 24s ; buyers offer 6d less. Butter, very firm. Danish has risen four Kroner to 98s; finest Australian quoted at 88s to gOs. Cheese, dull. New Zealand manufacture 38s per cwt. Sugar, German beet, 9s 9d ; Java, 10s. No. 1 best Scotch pipr iron, f.o.b. in Clyde, restricted at 44s 3d.
