The Stock Market.
(Per Press Association.) Sydney, July 3. The sheep sales have begun. By arrangements with the auctioneers, merinos will be the first disposed of before the long wools are touched. There was a large attendance of buyers, bidding being actiye and showing a greater hvlinoss than last year. Ou the whole the condition of stock offered, and npfcicably in New Zealand consignment^ was much better than in 1894. Prices were good, though not of the sensational qrder; the highest being 150gs for a Paradox II rain belonging to Gibson's Sir Thomas flock, Tasmania. A small parcel of Vermonts from New Zealand were catalogued, but. were not in evidence when reached in the list.
