. o. IMPORTANT TEST CASE. THE ABERFOYLE AFFAIR, THE N.S.W. BREEDERS' ASSOCI- 1 ATION. (Per Press Association). Melbourne, July 2. The full Court has given the reserved decision in tho action instituted by the Crown against the Bank of Victoria, to determine whether certain moneys, received by the Master of Equity at the direction of the Court, and lodged by him in the bank entitled priority of payment as Crown moneys, or whether the Master of Equity was compelled, under the subsequent scheme of reconstruction to accept deferred deposits. The Chief Justice held that Crown moneys were entitled to priority, and Justices Hodges and A'Beckett opposed this. A verdict was given for defendants. The Marine Board eulogised the crew of the Aberfoyle in their conduct nnder a trying experience and found that the captain committed suicide in order to avoid the disgrace in connection with the death of the mate. Sidney, July 2. The New Zealand trader Uanda Isle made a remarkably smart passage from Melbourne to Stanley, Tasmania, picking up her cargo thence to Sydney, the round trip occupying only seven days. She ran from Tasmania to Sydney in 70 hours. Mr Sutton, of New Zealand, gained third prize for Lincoln ewes and was also highly commended Bkisj'.axk, July 2. The revenue for tho year was £"3,41'», 000, an increase of £70,000 over the previous year. The expenditure was £3,808,000", a reductiou of £48,000 as compared with last year.
