VICTORIAN BUTTER. (Per Press Association). Melbourne, June 28. The Government has appointed a commission to enquire into the alleged discovery of foreign fats in Victorian butter in London. The Customs revenue for the year ending to-morrow shows an increase of ±'i 24,000 compared with last year and £108,000 upon the Titf imate. The barque B. Sydney, Juue 28. Sir H. Parkes presided at a meeting of the Fedeial Party this eveuing, at which a programme was adopted to make Federation a constant aud supreme object of political life in future.
