Reception to the Hon. Mr. Ward.

("PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, June 27. The Chamber of Commerce has decided to interview the Hon. Mr Ward on reaching Auckland and to ask for information on important commercial matters affecting the colony and mother country. Some citizens are moving to present an address to Mr Ward on his arrival. The address sets forth, that Mr Ward has refuted the calumines on the colony, restored its financial position and successfully raised a loan of a million and a half for the relief of farmers, thus meriting the gratitude of the agricultural classes of the colony. The address closes with thanks to him for his loyalty and devotion to New Zealand.
