Jewellery Robbery.

(I'ER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Sydney, June 24. A iewellery robbery is reported from Stewart Dawson and Co. A tray with forty three diamoud rings, valued at £1599, was locked up in the safe at night. In the morning, Mr Kent, the manager, missed several of the ringsTwo brothers named Gill were arrested in connection with the robbery. One of the brothers was caught pawning a missing ring set with diamonds. The others were discovered in his possession broken up. Later. The robbery at Stewart Dawson's was cleverly effected. The safe was not tampered with, and the goods must have been extracted in daylight in the presence of the employes. The latter declared no one answering the prisoners' description, which is somewhat noticeable, visited the shop. Only £100 worth of property has been recovered.
