Alleged Murder in Wellington.

TWO PRISONERS COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, June 21. This afternoon Andrew and Joseph Kennedy, Joseph Jewett and Roboit Gawn were charged with the murder of Louie Smith. Dr. Ewart, of the Hospital, con sidered that the wounds sustained by r-uiith would uot in a healthy person necessarily have caused death, but might have done so. There was no opium given her in the Hospital but morphia was injpe:ted twice. Brandy was also administered. Marguerila Cora JRattigan, a nurse a- the Hospital, said that Smith told her that her wounds were the result of a pure accident. The patient had a craving for opium. Andrew Kennely and Joseph Jewett w<re committed for tiial on the charge of murder, Joseph Kenneely and Kobert Gawn being discharged fion custody.
