There seems to be a difference of oj)iuiou between the Councillors as to the power of the Council, in the matter of suspending the building byelaws, and it is probable the point will be further discussed at the next meeting of the Council, because it appears singular to say the least of it, that the Council should evade a well cousidered regulation just when it suits them.
