Coolgardie Gold Fields.

(Per Press Association.! Melbourne, June 17. An alluvial rush has set ia close to the Government tank at 45 miles north ol Coolgardie. An old digger, named Browne, struck a patch in a gully below ironstone ridges, and secured a few ounces. He is surrounded by 40 more and so far the men are doing fairly well while one turned up a 12oz slug at a depth of 9 inches. Several smallei pieces, from loz to2}oz, were also found Many more are doing better. Much oi the gold is fine, but some are coarse pieces, ranging from ldwt. to sdwt The find is close to an overflowing Gov erment dam, and within 15 miles of auother full tank, and also within half a mile of Cashman's mine, A new line of reef has been discovered four miles from Coolgardie on the road to Mount Burgess.
