Licensing News.

(Per Press Association). Palmeeston N., This Day. All existing licenses were renewed at the annual meeting, of the Palmerston Licensing Court yesterday, with the exception of the Albion and Star Hotels licenses, which were adjourned for one week, the police report being unsatisfactory. Renewals were also granted to the following : Api'i Hotel, E. F. Eagar (Mr J. H. Hankins) granted on roadition communication to public hall is closed ; Colyton Hotel, E. P. Barrett (Mr W. A. Sandilands) ; United Hotel, Bunny thorpe, E. Calverley (Mr J. H. Hankins) ;Endya<ion Hotel, Awahuri, M. Drury. A transfer of the license of the Pohangina Accommodation House to H. S. Palmer was refused on the ground of being premature.
